Yes! Feeding Louisiana will provide a bill sheet for all attendees describing food security-related bills and indicating our position as an anti-hunger advocacy group.
Event attendees will attend committee meetings as a group and will be provided with signs to hold up indicating whether we are for or against the bills being discussed.
Attendees will also be able to access “Hunger Fact Sheets” with important statistics illustrating the state of hunger in their LA senate, LA house, and US house districts.

Feeding Louisiana annually develops federal and state public policy recommendations that reduce hunger in our state.
We work every day to educate and partner with our leaders so that they can make informed decisions and laws that support our food bank partners and progress towards a hunger-free Louisiana.
